Week 50: I Have Loved You, Saith the Lord
I have loved you, saith the Lord.
Malachi 1:2
Malachi opens with the Lord’s tender words, “I have loved you,” and the people’s doubtful reply, “Wherein hast thou loved us?” The whole Old Testament is an answer to that question, and the greatest answer was about to be born in Bethlehem. Malachi closes with a promise that Elijah would come to turn the hearts of families toward each other. What a fitting way to finish the year.
This companion follows Malachi for the week of December 14 – 20, alongside your Come, Follow Me Old Testament study.
