Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the Lord of hosts.

Zechariah 4:6

When the Jews returned from Babylon, the temple lay in ruins, and for years they built their own houses first. Haggai’s message was gentle but clear: “Consider your ways.” Zechariah encouraged them to rebuild, not by might, but by the Lord’s Spirit, and he saw the King who would one day ride into Jerusalem, lowly and bringing salvation. This week, consider what you are building, and who it’s for.

This companion follows Haggai 1–2; Zechariah 1–4; 7–14 for the week of December 7 – 13, alongside your Come, Follow Me Old Testament study.
