I will heal their backsliding, I will love them freely.

Hosea 14:4

Hosea describes the Lord’s covenant with Israel like a marriage, and Israel kept walking away. But the Lord didn’t give up. Again and again He called them back: “I will heal their backsliding, I will love them freely.” Joel adds a promise that the Spirit will be poured out on all of us. This week, let yourself hear the Lord calling you home, not with a scolding, but with love.

This companion follows Hosea 1–6; 10–14; Joel for the week of November 16 – 22, alongside your Come, Follow Me Old Testament study.
