Week 47: Rejoice with Joy Unspeakable and Full of Glory
Ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory.
1 Peter 1:8
Peter wrote to Saints who were being tried and persecuted, and his letters are full of hope. Their faith was “much more precious than of gold.” They were “a chosen generation, a royal priesthood.” The gospel was even preached to the dead. And he invited them to keep growing, adding to their faith virtue, knowledge, temperance, patience, godliness, brotherly kindness and charity.
This companion follows 1 and 2 Peter for the week of November 15 – 21, alongside your Come, Follow Me New Testament study.
