Hebrews 11:1
Hebrews 11 is a great roll call of faith: Abel, Enoch, Noah, Abraham, Sarah, Moses, Rahab and many more, who “all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off.” Then Hebrews 12 invites us to join them: “seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses,” let us “run with patience the race that is set before us, Looking unto Jesus.”
