I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase.

1 Corinthians 3:6

The Saints in Corinth were dividing into groups: “I am of Paul,” “I of Apollos.” Paul pleaded with them to “be perfectly joined together in the same mind.” He reminded them that “I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase,” and that the things of God are understood by the Spirit. He also taught that our bodies are temples where the Spirit of God can dwell.

This companion follows 1 Corinthians 1–7 for the week of August 16 – 22, alongside your Come, Follow Me New Testament study.
