Week 31: Be of Good Cheer… Thou Hast Testified of Me
Be of good cheer, Paul: for as thou hast testified of me in Jerusalem, so must thou bear witness also at Rome.
Acts 23:11
Paul was arrested in Jerusalem, held for years, and sent as a prisoner to Rome. Along the way he told his conversion story to kings and governors, survived a terrible storm and shipwreck, and shook off a viper on Malta. Through it all the Lord stood by him and said, “Be of good cheer, Paul.” This week, listen for that same encouragement in your own trials.
This companion follows Acts 22–28 for the week of July 26 – August 1, alongside your Come, Follow Me New Testament study.
