Ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me.
Acts 1:8
Before He ascended, the risen Lord promised His Apostles power from the Holy Ghost and told them they would be His witnesses “unto the uttermost part of the earth.” On the day of Pentecost the Spirit came like a rushing mighty wind, and Peter, who had once denied knowing Jesus, stood up and testified boldly. This week, watch what ordinary disciples could do once the Holy Ghost was with them.
