Did not our heart burn within us, while he talked with us by the way?

Luke 24:32

On the first day of the week, the tomb was empty. That same day, two disciples walked to Emmaus with a stranger who opened the scriptures to them, and they knew Him in the breaking of bread. He showed His hands and feet to the Apostles, invited Thomas to believe, and on the shore of Galilee made breakfast for His friends and asked Peter, “Lovest thou me?” This week, notice how the risen Lord comes to people right where they are.

This companion follows Matthew 28; Mark 16; Luke 24; John 20–21 for the week of June 21 – 27, alongside your Come, Follow Me New Testament study.
