Week 24: Not My Will, but Thine, Be Done
Nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done.
Luke 22:42
After the Last Supper, Jesus went to the Mount of Olives. There He knelt and prayed, “Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done.” An angel came to strengthen Him, and His sweat was as great drops of blood. That night He was betrayed and arrested, and Peter denied knowing Him. This week, ponder what the Savior did for you in that garden.
This companion follows Luke 22; John 18 for the week of June 7 – 13, alongside your Come, Follow Me New Testament study.
