Week 22: In Remembrance
A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you.
John 13:34
On the night before His death, Jesus gathered His Apostles in an upper room. He knelt and washed their feet. He took bread, blessed it and broke it, and took the cup, and gave the sacrament for the first time. Days earlier, a woman had anointed Him with precious ointment, and He said what she had done would be told as a memorial of her. This week, prepare for the sacrament with fresh eyes.
This companion follows Matthew 26; Mark 14; John 13 for the week of May 24 – 30, alongside your Come, Follow Me New Testament study.
