Week 11: I Will Give You Rest
Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
Matthew 11:28
“Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden.” It may be the gentlest invitation in all of scripture. Jesus offers to share our load, like two oxen sharing one yoke. This week also shows that His Sabbath is a day for doing good, and that the Father gives the Holy Spirit to anyone who asks. If you are tired, this week is for you.
This companion follows Matthew 11–12; Luke 11 for the week of March 8 – 14, alongside your Come, Follow Me New Testament study.
