Week 8: He Taught Them as One Having Authority
Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.
Matthew 7:7
The Sermon on the Mount continues with the Lord’s Prayer, treasures in heaven, and the promise that whoever asks will receive. Then Jesus ends with a story every child knows: the wise man built his house upon a rock. The people were astonished, because He taught with authority. This week, choose one teaching to actually live, and build on it.
This companion follows Matthew 6–7 for the week of February 15 – 21, alongside your Come, Follow Me New Testament study.
